I turned this one off. Then I got bored at turned it back on again before the storm was over. :D
I do too. But mostly cos I don't want them to explode, as happened to an aquaintence of mine once. Generally I don't panic about it until the gap between the lightning and the thunder gets down under 2 seconds, which it was doing last night...
